I am a novice predator caller in the western region of NY state. I have a couple of questions I hope someone can help with. Can anyone tell me who would be interested in the pelts I hope to get next season? How should they be treated while I store them? NY state, because of concerns about deer poaching, limits the firearms I can use at night to shotguns with #4 shot or smaller to rimfire caliber. What are your opinions on the effectiveness of the 22 WMR on coyotes called in ? Would you recommend night hunting or sticking to daylight hours with a larger caliber ?
