Shotgun Scopes

I’ve used a scoped 835 for six years and have had nothing but good results. I would recommend using a Propoint or similiar red dot scope over a magnified scope, though. With one of these scopes, the hunter can keep both eyes open and still use the scope effectively. This has been useful in keeping track of those approaching gobblers. Additionally, it is much easier to take wingshots (should you have to) with a red dot over a traditional scope. Works great for shooting slugs too. Hope this helps Shoot ‘em in the face! I am interested in obtaining a scope for a shotgun. I have been told you could use either a black powder or shotgun scope on shotguns. Has anyone out there had any experience in using a black powder scope on a shotgun?
