If you are getting older eyes like I am, I recommend a scope on the shotgun. Cabella’s has a Bushnell Trophy 1.75-4 designed for a shotgun, that far surpasses the Leopold scope for clarity and brightness. It also cost over $100 less ($129.99). It may be priced wrong because my local gun store wants $239 for the same Bushnell scope. Just purchased a Moss. 835 slug barrel. the barrel is cantilever. Has anyone out there mounted a rifle scope to a slug gun? I dont see the problem. I have a sportview mounted now and havent gotten thumped yet. Im debating buying a shotgun scope-should I?
