Response:

True Story: Forgot to set alarm to get up on Sat. AM for Turkey hunting.  Woke up about 7:00, said "forget about it."  About 8:00 decided to give it a try. Got to the woods a bit beforet 9:00, took my shotgun out of the trunk and walked into the woods.  Got to the first field, looked, saw nothing. Walked to the end of the field, looked around the hedgerow and saw 3 turkeys about 80-90 yds away.  Backed up, gobbled once, sat down by the hedges, and waited.  Watched for about 5 minutes as 3 jakes came down the field, yelling the whole way.  Clucked once to keep them moving when they stopped to argue with each other.  Dropped a 13lb 12 oz jake at 30 yards. Also spooked a hen on the way out of the woods.  Was back at the car by 9:40, and home in plenty of time for lunch.  HOWS THAT FOR A FIRST-EVER TURKEY HUNT???
