Combination Shotgun/Rifle?

Question:

Savage has made the Model 24 since about 1950. It is a rifle barrel over a shotgun and comes in a variety of calibers/gauges, one of them .22/20 ga.. Not sure if they still make that combination but there should be a lot of them out there for sale. Expect to pay in  the $250 range. There are also

several  European manufacturers like Heym, Kreighof etc. The other option that I have yet to see in real life, (but does  exist) is a srew in type barrel. You can have one custom made for your double shotgun and it is removable. The place that I  inquired said it costs around $1000! Good luck! Kristian

Response:

I believe Savage still markets their 24F in 12ga/22 hornet,223.30-30, and 20 ga/22lr, 22hornet 223, 30-30 guns all with 3" chambers. around 400$ retail.(413)-568-7001.
