browning gold 3" choke info.

Question:

hello,         I have a brand new browning gold hunter and I was wondering if anyone  can help me.  Do the golds come with a magazine plug?  If so please tell me where in the box it would be!  also I was wondering what choke you would recommend for ducks, modified, improved, or full?  I also am wondering if I should use 3" or 2 3/4" shells?  also what shot size should I be using? I hate to bombard anyone with questions but I really would like your help.                                 thank you for your help, Visit the rec.hunting and rec.hunting.dogs FAQ Home Page at:         http://sportsmansweb.com/hunting/ To leave the Hunting listserv list, send a message with SIGNOFF HUNTING

How do you like the Browning "Gold Hunter" gun?  Is it your only shotgun or do you use for a specific purpose (i.e. waterfowl)?  I am looking for an "all around" type of gun for waterfowl, geese, etc..  I will probably purchase another gun for upland bird hunting. I have a browning "Gold Hunter"  12 ga.  I use it on ducks and geese with 3" loads for geese, large ducks and 2 3/4" for jump shooting ducks.  I would not trade it for anything.  As far as choke tubes go, use what is recommend for steel shot and pattern it out, I use a modified tube. >How do you like the Browning "Gold Hunter" gun?  Is it your only shotgun or >do you use for a specific purpose (i.e. waterfowl)?  I am looking for an >"all around" type of gun for waterfowl, geese, etc..  I will probably >purchase another gun for upland bird hunting.
