if it is a simple break, for instance; just broke in half rather than in splinters, you can likely fix it, if you can’t find a new one. i have a double barrel shotgun that i broke the stock on.  it was broken cleanly in two through the pistol grip.  an old part-time gunsmith, way up on ozone mountain epoxied it back togather so skillfully that you can’t see where it was broke.  it was done in either ‘84 or ‘85 (can’t recall for sure) and has been used all season every year since, with no hint of failure……just something to keep in mind if you can’t find a new one……. I’d check with Navy Arms first and then Dixie Gun Works.  DGW repaired the lock of a 25 year old Jap Hawken whose company was out of business for me. Frank Visit the rec.hunting and rec.hunting.dogs FAQ Home Page at:         http://sportsmansweb.com/hunting/

I believe Navy Arms is still in business.  Write to them to see if they can supply a replacement stock. Dave LeGrande GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
