Wife gets her FIRST deer!!!
Question:
Congratulations for many things, first to your wife on her first deer, for a great shot and to you for taking her. Also to your Dad for the great gun he built way back when. Get the kids out with you as soon as possible. It seems too many "sportsman and women" use it (hunting/fishing) as an excuse to leave the chikldren at home. Course the last is just my opinion! Take her BIRD hunting! She’ll like it… My wife was well on her way toward a member of PETA when I met her and this year she killed her first deer while alone hunting! :-) She really liked watching those grouse puff up into a ball of feathers and loved watching them get away! Good luck! REM7600 > I am out of luck, my wife is a vet and cheers for the animals.

oh moderator, judicious moderator ….why won’t you post? My wife has an affinity to cold, below 70 degrees, she breaks out into a rash … have tried … did get her to go on a parent child hunt. While my son and I hunted she stayed in the warm camper.
