Whitetail Hunting Gear
Question:
I am planning to ask for some new hunting gear. The main animal I hunt is deer. I want to get a new deer rifle with very little recoil and medium range(I was considering a remington model 700 BDL DM .270). I stand hunt and already have a 30-30 and want a rifle with a little more range than that. I also want to buy a pair of those new electronic earmuffs because I have overly sensitive ears and can’t stand a gunshot what pair would you recommend. Also I want to buy some new hunting suits such as bibs, jacket, and gloves. As far as the gun goes, I would buy either a Ruger 77 or the Remington 700 BDL in either 25-06 or 257 Roberts. Both are great rifles for the money. Both calibers will perform well at longer ranges with minimal recoil. When I am out in cold weather and I don’t care about being quiet, I wear Carhart Artic Coveralls. I don’t wear earmuffs.
