Skunks and Coyotes

Guess this got lost first time I posted it but my brother claims that he can shoot skunks and coyotes any time of year and as many as he wants here in Illinois. Jack, Your best answer is to go to the Ill DNR website at http://dnr.state.il.us/ and read the regulations yourself. I still go Illinois and hunt with family almost yearly so I try to stay up on the regulations. As I remember this law, skunks and coyotes are "unprotected" and may be taken at any time of year, with no limit, by a LICENSED Illinois hunter or by a landowner on their own land. There are some caveats such as, only licensed deer hunters and licensed turkey hunters may take them during the gun season for each respectively. Hope this helps. Curtis A.
