Sierra’s OAL for that bullet is 3.200" Keep in mind that the bullet is lighter than Speer’s 100gr. So try a charge just a little under maximum for the 100gr bullet. It will be safe enough for a 90gr bullet.      Bill Van Houten (USA Ret)  "No matter how hard you try, you can’t throw a potato chip very far." Midway USA 1-800-243-3220 sells a "any" caliber loadbook that has data for ALL the popular bullet manufactures.Cheep $7.99 I did this same thing.I shoot a 130gr partition using 55gr IMR 4350 at 2949fps avg 4shots.I duplicated the point of impact  with the 90gr’s using 59.2gr IMR 4350 at 3146fps avg 4shots.All using a standard M760Rem.No change in zero. You didn’t mention your powder choice but to work a load with IMR 4350 coldest to hottest 54.1-55.8-57.5-59.2-60.9 DO NOT CONFUSE WITH HODGDON 4350!!! Also Sierra has a toll free "Ballistician""support line at 1-800-223-8799.Perhaps these numbers work in your calling area. John Turner

I picked up 2 boxes of these varminters a while back thinking I might try doing a little varmit shooting with my deer rifle to keep in shape. Also I’ve read that you can load lighter bullets pretty light to reduce recoil, which helps when introducing people to shooting. I own both the Speer and Nosler reloading manuals but they obviously don’t cover the Sierra bullets. Nosler doesn’t have anything smaller than a 130GR and Speer only go down to 100GR.  Does anybody have some load ideas, preferably from the Sierra manual. I know I should just go out and buy their manual but its the only bullet of theirs I’ve ever bought.  Also any comments on how these bullets perform would be great. Thanks.
