Ruger Mini14 Scope
Question:
I recently purchased a Ruger Mini 14 and would like to outfit it with a scope. The intended purpose of the rifle will be shooting at the range and possibly hunting rabbits in the East Mohave. How accurate does your Mini 14 seem to be? They vary. Unless you stumbled across one that is spectacularly accurate, I’d lean towards a Weaver K2.5. Good field of view for runnin’ rabbits and it’ll allow more precise aiming than the average mini 14 can shoot. I have one on a .22 mag; it’s good enough for 0.75" 50 yard groups; I doubt the mini is capable of that, so you don’t need more magnification.
