I get about 100 fps less than published with the 180gr Remington factory load, chronographed on a hot day. Other than that I am thrilled, because my LSS model shoots those loads into less than an inch. Consistently. It does the same with most of the 180 gr handloads I have tried as well. The 100 fps less would put it closer to .300 Weatherby specs, but based on experience with other factory rounds I have loaded, their published velocities are probably a little higher than actual fps. The case on the Ultramag is bigger, so it will get higher velocities all else being equal.
