Rate of Twist question
Question:
Does anybody know the rate of twist on a Ruger Ranch Rifle? I want to start loading a 70gr bullet and don’t know if I want to or not depending on the twist. any help with this would be greatly appreciated. If you have the rifle, take a cleaning rod with a bronze brush on it. Push it down the barrel, then put a piece of tape on the cleaning rod, so a tab points up right at the muzzle. Then pull the rod out until the tape makes one full revolution.
