Need dove recipie

Question:

A favorite down here is to put a jalapeno pepper in the breast. Then wrap bacon around the outside, then smoke. Tastes good, always a hit! Good luck! Randy Visit the rec.hunting and rec.hunting.dogs FAQ Home Page at:         http://sportsmansweb.com/hunting/

A simple little recipe: Brown dove breast well.  Place in electric skillet and cover with cream of mushroom soup.  Cook until done.  Works good and tastes even better. >I have some dove breats that I’d like to make for appetizers on >Thanksgiving. I used to get chunks of pineapple and place a few in the chest cavity.  Then take a slice of bacon and wrap it around the whole thing and hold in place with a toothpick.  Dove is rather dry and the bacon keeps it moist while cooking, which by the way you can broil or BBQ the breasts till just a little pink on the inside. Sure Lou, 1) Place dove breasts in a baking or cake pan and pour enough olive oil on each one to moisten it. 2) Sprinkle Greek seasoning on each breast. 3) Wrap each breast with a strip of bacon and pin with a toothpick. 4) Cover dish with clear plastic wrap and place in refrigerator for 2 or 3 hours. 5) Cook breasts on BBQ until the bacon is done. Turn them as needed. When done, the breast will be light pink inside and very delicious.
