Looking for March hog hunt in central Florida and suggestions on an October 2002 hunt.`

Question:

I am going down to central Florida (Haines City) in early March and am looking for a hog hunt.  Don’t want to use dogs, but other methods (stand, stalk, etc.) are okay.  It would be easiest if they supplied a gun , as I would rather not take mine with me on the plane.  If  I need to bring my own weapon I would bring the bow. Is there a place in the area that anyone would suggest? Also, I am looking for a recommendation on a October 2002 hunt.  Something under $2500, at least 4 full days in the field and likely to be successful. I was thinking pronghorn out west with a rifle.  I am an avid bowhunter, so using a bow would break a tie. But anything different then bow/gun hunting for deer or turkey in Wisconsin. Any suggestions? Any help with finding the outfitter would be great. Thanks Henry Visit the rec.hunting and rec.hunting.dogs FAQ Home Page at:         http://sportsmansweb.com/hunting/

Response:

I know of an outfitter outside of Haines City that I use.  They get $375 per trip.  E-mail if interested I will get you more info. Visit the rec.hunting and rec.hunting.dogs FAQ Home Page at:         http://sportsmansweb.com/hunting/
