Florida Hunt

Question:

Yea, watch out for the black bear around there. They have a habit of climbing the tree your tree stand is in. A friend 5 years ago had to shoot a bear that decided it wanted the tree he was in more than he did. He was a cop and got into all sorts of trouble with Fla F&G before they decided he shot out of necessity. etc.. **The "pipeline unit" is the Dog hunt area.  Deer populations are lower (higher ratio of acres per deer) — also, it get’s *awfully* crowded.  Don’t hunt close to the roads or powerlines!  There are people that will park their truck in the middle of the powerline and hunt from the top of the truck with a high powered rifle!  Not safe! <in my book> ** The Lake Delancy unit has a higher population of deer.  It is also a still hunt area. I live just a few miles from the edge of the Ocala N.
