I have to seriously question the accuracy of the above statement since rabies is only found in mammals and crows are not mammals but avians. Is it possible that the 90% who tested positive actually were infested with lice and other vermin and not rabies. Alex * Spinner of the WWWeb Page at: * http://www.well.com/user/amv/amv.htm Visit the rec.hunting and rec.hunting.dogs FAQ Home Page at:         http://sportsmansweb.com/hunting/

In a discussion about crow hunting, I was told they were really good eating if you used a pressure cooker.  Knowing what they eat, you’d think crow would have to taste as bad as buzzards and sea gulls.  Anybody brave enough to admit they have experience in this regard?  I’m a little curious. FWIW……. thanks in advance. Visit the rec.hunting and rec.hunting.dogs FAQ Home Page at:         http://sportsmansweb.com/hunting/

Google is wonderful.  Even more on cooking and eating them http://www.crowbusters.com/recipes.htm http://www.thecrowroost.com/RECIPES.htm We’ve been having several feed in the back yard lately on pecans.  I may have to see about taking some with the air rifle (appropriately enough a Beeman Crow Magnum) and eating some for the first time (not metaphorically, have done that a lot.) just to say I have really eaten crow.
