Bows vs. Riffles

Question:

I personally prefer the challenge of getting close enough to quarry with a bow rather than gunning them down from 150 yrds away. Has anyone heard about the TB infected deer in MI?  Is it spreading?  Or have they got it under control.  I’m planning on hunting there come this edible venison. Yes, and they are very quiet.  But kinda hard to carry concealed.
