I have alway been a big fan of the .308 win for all game in North America. I might go larger for Alaskian brown but two years ago I sot completly through a bull moose the long way (in neck out top of ass). How much more fire power does a hunter need? I like the browning blr since it’s lever action and will probally never be restricted. The Browning’s trigger drops with the lever so your finger never leaves the trigger, box magazine and I think 7 rotary lugs. Great gun and almost as fast as an auto loader. But an autoloader you want so I’d suggest either remington or browning.
