7×57 Ackley Improved loads
Question:
I am looking for load data for my 7×57 Ackley Improved. I currently load a 140 gr Sierra Boattail with 45 gr 3031. This gives me 3125 fps. I want to work up a load using a 160 grain bullet. You should purchase P.O. Ackley’s Handbook for Shooters and Reloaders. It has a section on this cartridge and several loads are listed. I think Brownells has both Volume I and II of this book.
