303 British Bullets by Winchester
Question:
Hi. Does anyone know the difference between a winchester 180 grain 303 Silvertip and a 180 grain Powerpoint? I haven’t found any tables for the Silvertip. Thanks

Assuming you are talking ballistics, the loads should be almost exact. The only difference being the type of bullet. Have you checked out the new Hornady "Light Magnums"? You’ll pay a premium price but will get a premium load and bullet. Ideally the "Light Magnums" are supposed to step up your rifle "one to two calibers" without causing excessive pressures. Its worth a try if your going to use the .303 for some quality hunting.
