New Mexico Bow Hunt For Elk

I am going to New Mexico to bow hunt for elk. The trip is planned for Sept of 97. I would like information weather conditions and tactics to use for that time of the year. THANKS, Allen

Allen: I went hunting for mulies, bear, and antelopes in NM this past Sept.. Clothing wise I would prepare for 35 degree mornings and 70 degree afternoons. It also depends on where you are hunting, I was near Quemado, and then near Claunch for antelopes. We were in camp with elk hunters, but they were having no luck because of a freak huriicane that had just dumped the area with more rain in a week than they had gotten all year. Good luck.
