Question:
Friends, For what it’s worth, and for your informaiton, here’s a letter I mailed to the NRA today: —— The American Rifleman NRA Publications 11250 Waples Mill Road Fairfax, Virginia 22030 (on the ‘net at http://www.NRA.org) April 27, 1999 Dear Sir: I am so outraged by recent events that I am herewith enclosing a check in the amount of $250.00 to be used to fight for my right to keep and bear arms. I am sickened and outraged by two events: the first being your story in the May 1999 American Rifleman "Hired Guns Take Aim at your Guns." This tells about how the trial lawyers are planning to destroy the right to keep and bear arms through frivolous anti-gun lawsuits. The second is the April 27 press conference held by President Clinton in response to the Littleton, Colorado tragedy. In his press conference, President Clinton compared "hunting and shooting sports" to the culture of violence in America. Imagine! The president of the United States is linking the millions Americans involved in hunting and shooting sports to murderers! The NRA was right all along when it warned us about the Clinton
